A child was injured after being hit by a car on Northwest Topeka Blvd.
The accident happened off Topeka Blvd. and St. John around 12:15 this afternoon.
Police say the vehicle was heading eastbound on St. John when the truck hit a male child riding their bike.
Police say they don't know if the child was on the sidewalk or riding in the street.
The child was transported to a local hospital and later found that he only suffered a broken leg.
