The Topeka Zoo will be celebrating a special birthday tonight.
Tiffany the Gorilla will be celebrating her 45th birthday during "Late Night with Lenahan" at the Topeka Zoo tonight.
The party starts at 5-5:30 at the Capital City Bank Tree Top Conservation Center.
There will be several events to celebrate the gorillas birthday, a viewing of Tiffany's favorite movie "Mary Poppins," a chat with the gorilla keepers, and she will also get her favorite cake, strawberry shortcake.
Starting at 6 p.m. you can hear the zoo director give a gorilla update and the monthly conservation conversation, which is free.
Normal admission rates do apply for all other birthday celebration events.
The zoo is open late Thursday nights until the end of August through a partnership with Dr. Kevin Lenahan and the Spectacle.
