Topeka Habitat for Humanity will be honored as the recipientof the Employer of Excellence at next week's YWCA Leadership Luncheon.
Topeka Habitat employs two full-time and two part-time staff people. Also, through a partnership with the Washburn University LinC office, THFH has three AmeriCorps VISTAs as part of its dynamic team.
THFH has undergone a period of rapid growth since 2010 as the organization has transitioned from aboard-run organization to a staff-run organization. This small but highly-productive team coordinates all the efforts required to produce three homes per year for qualifying low-income families of Topeka.
