Safe Streets in partnership with Alcoholic Beverage Control and Topeka Police Department announces the results of 7 enforcement operations during the month of April, agents from Alcoholic Beverage Control and Topeka Police Department enforced underage drinking laws in Topeka/Shawnee County.
The purpose of the enforcement operations are to monitor and issue citations to people under 21 years of age in possession of and consuming alcohol, and to issue citations to people social hosting parties or furnishing alcohol to minors.

This Underage Drinking Task Force comprised of these Law Enforcement Agencies plans to run similar operations within Shawnee County over the next several months in order to lower the accessibility of alcohol to minors within Shawnee County.
