The Helping Hands Humane Society stopped by with two dogs looking for news homes and detailed the weekend event Hawgs for Dawgs.
Hawgs for Dawgs and Cats is Saturday, July 27. Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. at the shelter at 21st and Belle and lasts until 9:45 a.m. The ride starts at 10:00 a.m. All proceeds help fund the Helping Hands Humane Society. The cost is $20 per rider and $10 for a passenger.
This is about a 100 mile ride. The group will stop halfway in Wamego.
