A woman is still in the hospital after a shooting Monday night in Topeka.
It happened around 10:30 pm in the 3300 block of SW 29th St.
Officers found 22-year old Karissa Torres with a life-threatening gunshot wound.
She was inside an apartment building.
Topeka Police say the suspect is a black male and was last seen wearing a Carhart jacket with a white bandana over his face.
Officers say the suspect got away in the victim's car, which was found unoccupied at an apartment complex in the 3200 block of SW Eveningside Dr..
The shooting is still under investigation, and Torres' condition is not known at this time.
