Early Monday afternoon a passing motorist called in highway officials after spotting a White Impala in a dry creek bed off Vara Rd. just off EB I-70 at exit 338.
Crews on the scene pulled a man from the car which was believed to have been there since Sunday night. The man was found with a towel, which he was using to dip into the creek and drink from.
LifeStar transported the man, who was identified as Daniel Delatore to a local Topeka hospital. Delatore is expected to pull through according to medical staff.
