Topeka police say the bomb squad was called out to one Topeka neighborhood late Monday night.
At about 9:15 Monday night Topeka police got a call of a disturbance in the 1700 block of SW Green Acres.
Officers say they arrested a person there for aggravated assault. While they were in the process of the follow up investigation they found a suspicious device in the residence.
The TPD bomb squad was called and the device was secured without any problems.
No one was injured.
No other information is being released at this time.
