TPD can now confirm the identity of the pedestrian in this accident as Courtney Moss (male), age 33 of Topeka. Further information is being held at this time due to the current investigation.
A pedestrian was sent to the hospital in critical condition after being hit by a car Wednesday night.
The accident happened in the 3100 block of southeast 6th street around 10pm.
When officers arrived they found man lying on the street with life threatening injuries.
The victim was taken to a local hospital listed in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to the LEC and accident reconstruction responded to investigate.
