A recent partnership was celebrated with a ribbon cutting in Topeka.
The Greater Topeka Chamber Of Commerce cut the ribbon on the Helen Hocker Theater in Gage Park Tuesday evening.
Management of the theater was recently taken over from Shawnee County by Topeka Civic Theater and Academy.
The ceremony was followed by the chamber's monthly "Business After Hours" event.
Helen Hocker also announced its upcoming shows for the season.
Among those on the bill are 'Shrek the Musical', a youth production of 'The Velveteen Rabbit', and 'RAPUNZEL! -A Very Hairy Fairy Tale' featuring the Bath House Players.
