Flash flooding in Geary County brought trouble for some in Junction City.
At approximately 4:30 pm this afternoon Geary County started seeing heavy rain and strong wind.
Flooding began shortly after causing damage to cars, homes and few businesses. It's estimated that nearly six inches of rain fell in a two hour time period.
Geary County Sheriff Tony Wolf says with many residents leaving work for the day, the storm hit at the worst possible time.
Wolf says the flood water is now in the draining process but the Sheriff's office is still searching for any more possible damage.
