Halloween is a little less than two weeks away but some people are already celebrating.
Last night people joined in the Latin American Holiday “Dia De Los Muertos” or Day of the Dead.
The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center featured traditional Aztec Dancers to celebrate the occasion. The performance took place in the Magical Rainforest created by local students and paper artist Kelly Thomas Sanders.
According to organizers, the colorful costumes and movements serve to pay homage to the Earth and its elements.
