Topeka, Kan. (KSNT) - Kansas lawmakers are onto their next stop after first visiting Topeka on their higher education tour.
Washburn University President, Jerry Farley talked to members of the Kansas House and Senate Budget Writing Committees at Washburn Tech.
They checked out the Heavy Diesel Construction Technology Center and toured the Washburn Tech. facilities.
Chairman of the Senate Ways and Means Committee says the tour gives lawmakers a chance to see how their decisions impact schools.
The tour will visit all the regents universities and a community college before it wraps up on October 30, 2013.
