The Auburn-Washburn School District honored several staff members for their service to the district.
At a reception Monday evening, the district honored nearly two dozen staff members who will retire at the end of the 2012-2013 school year.
It also recognized staffs who have reached their 25th consecutive year of service to Auburn-Washburn.
Winners of the USD 437 Distinguished Staff Awards and recent Kansas Horizon Award winners were also celebrated during the special event.
