Two Topeka Police officers will be getting nearly $100,000 in worker's compensation due to injuries they got during training and while on duty.
On Tuesday night, the Topeka City Council approved the settlements for two police employees who received injuries in the line of duty that left them with permanent damage between 2008 and 2011.
Topeka Police Sergeant Byron Endsley will receive about $40,000.
Officer James Wilson will receive $55,000.
The settlement passed without argument or debate.
