At 10:45 this morning, the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office responded to a one vehicle accident in the 4100 block of NW Carlson Rd.
A blue 1999 Jeep Wrangler was traveling northbound on Carlson Rd. when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a culvert, rolled, entered a cornfield and came to a stop approximately 25 ft east of Carlson Rd.
The driver, Steven Scott, 62, of Rossville, was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported by American Medical Response to Stormont Vail Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The Rossville Police Department, along with Rossville Fire and Silver Lake Police assisted with the accident. The accident is under investigation.
