Southeast Topeka - A Kansas Highway Patrol officer is recovering following an accident in southeast Topeka.
The Topeka Police Department says it happened at the intersection of southeast 37th and Adams around 3:45pm Friday.
It involved the trooper's car and another vehicle.
The officer was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.
The intersection was closed as crews worked on the scene but has since reopened.
