The fighting in Syria was the topic of discussion at Washburn University Monday night.
A panel discussion titles “Civil War in Syria” took place at the Henderson Learning Resources Center on campus.
Faculty and students discussed the country’s historical background and political and regional issues.
The group also discussed the question of American intervention in the conflict.
Monday’s presentation was free to the public and sponsored by the Washburn chapter of The Phi Alpha Theta history honory society.
