September 4, 2013 - At 7:50 this morning, Shawnee County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an injury accident in the 700 block of NW 50th.
A Toyota Camry, driven by Joyce Pardee, 64, of Topeka, was traveling eastbound on NW 50th. A Ford ZX2, driven by Tanner Kennedy, 17, of Topeka, was traveling west on NW 50th and attempted to turn south into the entrance of the student parking lot at Seaman High School.
The vehicles collided and came to rest in the north ditch of NW 50th. There were no other occupants in either vehicle. Both drivers were transported by AMR to Stormont Vail Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Seaman School Police and the Soldier Township Fire Department assisted with the accident.
