KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Friday that the club has signed offensive tackle Eric Fisher. The team has now signed all eight draft selections from the 2013 draft class.
Fisher (6-7, 306) joined the Chiefs as the club's first-round pick (first overall) in the 2013 NFL Draft. He was the first of five offensive tackles and the first of nine offensive linemen picked in round one. Fisher played in 42 games (32 starts) at Central Michigan. He started 26 at left tackle, four at right tackle and two at right guard. As a starter, he registered 341 knockdowns/key blocks, and produced 45 touchdown-resulting blocks. Fisher prepped at Stoney Creek High School in Rochester Hills, Mich.
The Kansas State Wildcats will play the Michigan Wolverines in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl in Tempe, Arizona on December 28.
