Hot weather will continue to be firmly in place across Kansas and we have finally found ourselves in the midst of a true summer weather pattern.
The wind flow high up in the atmosphere is steered up and over the Central and Southern Plains, keeping all storm systems clear of the area. That will leave us high and dry with south winds continually bringing the humidity and heat into the region for the next couple weeks.
